Recipes

Pulled Pork

Ingredients

  • Whole Pork Butt
  • Yellow Mustard
  • Irish Butter
  • Arthur Bryant's Meat & Rib Rub
  • Apple Juice


Directions

  • Trim Excess Fat
  • Place in Foil Pan
  • Add 1/2" of Apple Juice
  • Rub with Yellow Mustard
  • Season with Arthur Bryant's
  • Top with slices of Irish Butter
  • Tent with tin foil (leave openings to allow smoke)
  • Set smoker to 165
  • Cook 8 hours
  • Increase temp to 250, close foil tent completely
  • Remove pork at 195 degrees
  • Leave tented for 1 hour
  • Shred Pork in separate Pan, remove remaining fat
  • Pour over part of the juice from the original pan
  • Season with Arthur Bryant's to taste
  • Seal with foil until serving


Loaded Baked Beans

Ingredients

  • Bush's Baked Beans 28oz can
  • 1lb ground beef
  • 1 cup smoked sausage sliced (I use jalapeno sausage)
  • 1 green bell pepper diced
  • 1/2 lb bacon diced
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon bbq seasoning (I use Rays Original)


Directions

  • Brown ground beef in large skillet / drain excess grease
  • Season with garlic, salt, pepper
  • Prep remaining ingredients slicing and dicing
  • Add everything to a baking pan (cast iron or foil)
  • Smoke at 225 for 2 hours
  • Increase temp to 350 and cook 1 hour stirring a few times
  • Done


Deviled Eggs

Ingredients

  • Hard Boiled Eggs
  • Miracle Whip Salad Dressing
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • White Vinegar
  • Paprika


Directions

  • Prep Eggs / Slice / Separate Yolk
  • Mix Yolk with Salad Dressing (a lot of it until smooth)
  • Add salt / pepper / 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • Load mix back in the whites
  • Sprinkle with Paprika
  • (A bacon topper can also be good)
